Working Together, Moving Forward: Building Communities through Workforce Development

North Superior Workforce Planning Board would like to introduce ourselves as your new Local Employment Planning Council (LEPC)!

The Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario are supporting a new 18-month pilot program aimed at improving conditions in local communities through improved collection and dissemination of local labour market information, and community engagement to drive local approaches in the planning and delivery of employment and training services.

North Superior Workforce Planning Board has been selected by the province to deliver one of eight Local Employment Planning Council pilot projects across Ontario. Local Employment Planning Councils will help to improve employer participation rates in employment and training programs, improve rates of service coordination amongst local service providers and improve integrated local planning of Employment Ontario and non-Employment Ontario services amongst service providers.

For more information please contact us or visit the LEPC website.

This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
